Hey everyone-I can’t believe how time has flown by - my life has changed so much since my I last  posted.  I am now a Nanna to a beautiful little girl who is 18 months old - I cannot wait till we are able to craft together-My husband has been very poorly so crafting time has been very limited.  Anyway I have been doing little bits and pieces of crafting and have decided that I am going to start posting again as it’s a fantastic distraction to Life.  So my first post is about Screen Printing with the screen sensation.  My friend got the little one just before Christmas and I tried it with her and it didn’t go well.  Then my husband presented me with the compact screen sensation for Christmas.  I was thinking Oh no what am I going to do with this!!!! After lots of practicing I was hooked and then my friend Wendy Gay brought me the 12x12 for my birthday.  I have had so much fun with it and have treated myself to the MYOS to.  Here are a few pictures of some bits I have created.

Thank you for stopping by.  Tomorrow I will show some of my creations with my MYOS
Happy Saturday

Another 21st Birthday

Here is another 21st birthday card I have done for one of my daughters friends, I used a papermania embossing folder, some ribbon, a diamonte brad for the centre of my bow and a simple stamped sentiment. Quick, simple but effective I thought .
Have a good week

Long Time No Speak

Hello everyone I hope that you are all well, long time no speak.  Sorry I have been away so long, life has been very busy infact it seems to have sped along so fast that July is nearly over (how did it happen) and I am starting to panic about Christmas cards.

Here are two cards that I have just made.  My daughters friend turned 21 at the weekend and she celebrated her birthday with her mum and dad as it was their 25th wedding anniversary.  Both cards were inspired by Wendy Gay, (have a look at her blog Beebys Boutique) she has some amazing work. The flower on the first card is made using a spellbinders die.  I just layered up the paper and used a brad as the centre piece.  Hannahs. 21st card is made using a set of free indigo blue stamps that came with a magazine - the patterned paper is also a freebie.  I used a memory box die under the stamped sentiment and punched the edges of the blue paper with my martha stewart punch.  I made the flowers with the smallest of of the same spellbinders die used on the first card. I added glitter and bling for that extra sparkle.  You cant see it that well but I also added some stitching to the card.

I was pleased how they turned out.  I haven't done very much crafting recently and really enjoyed making these cards.  I hope you like them to.  I will try not to leave my next post so long.  Thank you for stopping by.

Love and hugs

Belated Resolutions

Hi everyone hope that you have enjoyed your Wednesday.  I have been tempted by so many goodies on create and craft tv just recently, not that I need anything else!!!!! My little craft area is bursting at the seams - I have so much stuff now that I can never find anything which is soooooo frustrating and I think that is the reason why I am shying away from my craft table. SO with that in mind I have decided not to buy any more craft bits (only essentials like tape and glue), and have a massive sort out in my craft area.  So from now on I am using up what I have.  Wish me luck as I may get withdrawal symptoms.  Here are some cards I have made using stash I already have.

The first 2 are Indigo Blu Alice in Wonderland stamps.  On the 1st card I used a mask to add a little interest to the background both cards are stamped withTim Holtz black soot ink and I added a little glitter.
Both these cards are Lilli of the Valley toppers.  I have added faux stitching an buttons to the first card and some homemade flowers, faux stitching, a doiley and some cosmic shimmer pva glue home made pearls.  The backing papers were from a huge stack of papers that I have had for about 3 years and not touched (I rest my case).

Hope you like my cards. Enjoy the rest of your week.  Wish me luck going "cold turkey"

Happy Birthday Mum

Tuesday was my mums birthday (Happy Birthday).  I have attached a few photos of the card and pressies that I made for her.  I hope you like them.
I used Indigo Blu "Sew Easy" stamps for this one, I embossed the button pack, the cotton reels and pins.  It was Versa fine sepia ink.

The MDF heart was Indigo Blu - I covered it with white so gesso then stamped and embossed the sentiment again with versafine sepia the dandelion seeds are off the indigo blu Wild Meadow range, I glittered them to add a little sparkle and added the flowers and pearl flourish.  I was pleased with the finished product and so was mum. ( I hope you was mum!)
Last but not least my first attempt at a sweetie tree. I got all the components from Hobby Craft.   I hooe you are all well and enjoying your weekend.  Take care and thank you for stopping by.

A very belated Happy New Year to you all.

Hi everyone I hope that you are all well in the land of blog.  After a very busy and rocky start to the New Year I have finally found some time to do a little card making and write a post for the blog.  I am so sorry its so late......... But finally I can show you :-

The first and is from Dreamees templates CD.  I have just really added some gems, glitter and a die cut that I coloured with my spectrum noir TN7 pen.

Card 2 is all indigo blu stamps on cream card with Vintage photo distressed ink.

Card 3 are papers printed from the Dreamees CD again, I punched the flowers and the scallop edge border, made the bunting and distressed all the borders.  The stamps images are lilli of the valley. I hope that you like them.  I must say I really enjoyed doing them.  It really is good therapy when I can sit quietly and craft.

Have a lovely rest of the weekend everyone. Take care and thank you for stopping by.
